A Path to Spiritual Awareness
Spiritual Retreat
Spiritual retreats allow time for reflection, prayer, or meditation. They are considered essential in Buddhism, having been a common practice since the Vassa, or rainy season retreat, was established by the founder of Buddhism, Gautama Buddha.

Retreats are also popular in many Christian churches, where they are seen as mirroring Christ's forty days in the desert, including evangelical Protestantism, Roman Catholicism and Anglicanism.

Welcome to Cowdray Chapel...

"My intention with the Chapel is to offer a non denominational space to all members of our community where they can come to take time out and be at peace. As an opportunity to step aside from the challenges of daily life it is intended to be a place of Prayer, Contemplation, Meditation and healing. Our intention is to offer a space where members of the community can drop in as they wish to be quiet and at peace.

As well as an open space for private meditation or contemplation, we will also be hosting a variety of inspirational workshops and retreats focusing on all areas of self development."
